Lego Aladdin Fan Art Project

A while back I was having some fun playing around with ArrayMesh in ZBrush, and decided to build a Library of Lego pieces and recreate some of my favorite scenes. I was experimenting with all kinds of ways to build stuff using ZModeler to build all lego pieces to scale (mm) as well as playing around with ArrayMesh to instance walls and ground, and NanoMesh to cheat a little bit.

*This is a fan art piece and is not an IP related project, only for fun to see what I could model with ZBrush

This project is still a WIP to complete but here are some renders of the scene as it stands as well as some scene setup images :)

Everything in this is modeled solely with ZBrush ZModeler, and some sculpting to apply some cheats by remeshing in voxel form to apply nanomesh to. (see attached images of Cave of Wonders)

Thanks for checking this out!

Using ZBrush to sculpt this first, I was able to cheat this a little by using Subtool > Remesh algorithm to create a voxel-like surface from the sculpture...very handy if you dont want to ArrayMesh/NanoMesh instance a bunch of blocks :)

Once I have the Remesh, I used Polygroup front to assign PGroups to the top view of the head, and apply NanoMesh lego cap to complete the cheating procedure :)

A small selection of the library of lego parts I was able to model very easily with ZModeler, and build them to exact scale using ZBrush's Scale Master Plugin
